Chef Joseph M. Sherman Jr. founded Sherman Culinary to bring thoughtful, personalized dining experiences directly to his clients. Raised in Metro Detroit, Joseph developed an early passion for the culinary world. His family’s roots in Italian hospitality helped inspire his path, making the profession feel like a natural calling. His experience at The Garage and Red Ryder Lounge further shaped his appreciation for quality ingredients, attentive service, strong teamwork, and the care required to create memorable meals. Building on that foundation, Joseph developed Sherman Culinary as a personal chef service centered on creativity, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
